She is originally from Turkey. She graduated as physicist from Middle East Technical University in Ankara but did not practice this profession; instead she started her own atelier as a painter which was her real passion to be an artist. Subsequently she moved to Andalucia and graduated from San Telmo Art School, Department of Ceramics, in Málaga. Since 2002 she runs her own atelier in El Burgo.
He was born and lived in Málaga where he has had so many individual painting exhibitions. In 2002 he has settled in El Burgo. In 2004 he has launched a painting workshop, also supported by the village municipality, where he teaches local enthusiasts. As a versatile artist he additionally works in the ceramic atelier of his spouse Devlet Dirik since the beginning of its activity.
